Let’s Make a Quiche

Description:  The crust, the filling…so difficult!  No…it…isn’t!  You will learn to make the perfect crust and the perfect fluffy Quiche filling. Du gâteau (easy as pie…or in this case, Quiche!)

Ravioli 101
Cost:  $85.00 pp
Description: Let’s learn to make Ravioli’s….from scratch!  In this very Hands On Class we begin by making a fresh seasonal filing and then the pasta dough featuring Semolina Flour from Italy.

Winter Soups                                                  
Cost:  $85.00 pp
Description: 3 of our favorite Winter Soups, Zuppa Toscana Lemon Chicken & Italian Wedding, are the stars of the show for this hands-on soup making class.

Sierra Chef Cookbook Club
Cost:  None
Description:  Enjoy the culinary companionship with the Ladies of the Carson Valley and beyond!  Each month we take 3 – 5 recipes, send them to our Club Members and get together for a potluck to chat about the recipes…and quite  few other things!  To get an invitation please email Events@SierraChef.com.

Taste of Italy Dinner, 5 Course Family Style
Cost:  $95.00 pp
Description:  This month’s Taste of Italy Dinner is a family style 5 course dinner featuring cuisine from the Umbria region.

Kid’s Class – Fun with Waffles
Cost:  $55.00 pp
Description:  From traditional waffles, waffle breakfast sandwich, tic tac toe Belgium waffles and everything in between!  Perfect for ages 6’ish to 10’ish.

Chicken & Dumplings
Cost:  $85.00 pp
Description:  There is no better comfort food than homemade Chicken & Dumplings.  Learn to make the perfect broth chockful of chicken, peas, carrots, celery, shallots, fresh parsley and topped with the fluffiest dumplings ever!

Fettuccine 101
Cost:  $85.00 pp
Description: There is nothing better than fresh pasta!  We will make several types of Fettuccine – Tomato Basil, Lemon Pepper and our Signature Sierra Chef Fossil Fettuccine!

Paella
Cost:  $95.00 pp
Description:  We will be making Spanish paella which is a dish of saffron-flavored rice cooked with meats, seafood, and vegetables which is cooked in a traditional paella flat bottom pan.

Bloomin’ Rose

Description:  You will make Marzipan and then begin with Puff Pastry and Cosmic Apple slices to create the perfect Bloomin’ Rose.

Kids Class – Jumbo Fortune Cookies

Description:  Kids will make their own Jumbo Valentines Fortune Cookies to fill with personal messages and decorate with Valentine’s sprinkles and confetti.

Healthy Eating Series – Lowering Your Blood Pressure
Cost: $125.00
Description:  We are honored to have Natural Foods Chef Elizabeth Roberts in the Cucina to share her insight for lowering High Blood Pressure through proper nutrition.  We will be making Cauliflower Puree, Veggie & Ground Turley Chili & Salmon en Papillote.  This ongoing series for 2026 will address key health concerns by emphasizing the positive effects of cooking classes on health,
improved nutrition, reduced food waste, and increased food literacy.

Description:  You will create a 4-course meal featuring Heirloom Tomato Bruschetta with Parmesan Crostini, Burrata with Crispy Prosciutto, Fresh Fettucine with Pesto, and a Decadent Tiramisu.

Signature Rosemary Garlic Lamb Lollipops

Description:  Learn how to French Cut a Rack of Lamb & make our Sierra Chef Signature Rosemary Parmesan Lamb Lollipops with New Zealand Lamb.

Description: Raviolo al’ Uovo is a traditional Italian dish of filled pasta with a runny egg filling that originated in the northern regions of Italy.  This creamy, rich, and indulgent pasta dish is a staple of Italian cuisine.  We will focus on 2 fillings, Spinach Ricotta & Chicken Tarragon.

Description:  A proper Italian aperitivo is more than just a pre-dinner ritual; it's a cherished part of Italian culture that blends food, drink, and social connection. Aperitivo is the tradition of meeting up for a pre-dinner drink and some small plates of food usually in a bar or a cafe, rather than a restaurant, offered in the form of a food buffet. We will show you how to create the perfect Aperitivo.

Description:  A Classic French dish of Duck Legs slow-cooked in their own rendered fat with potatoes.

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY - PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND BEFORE YOU BOOK A CLASS OR SCHEDULE AN EVENT…THANK YOU!

All classes & events are paid in full when they are booked and are non-refundable…no exceptions.  All Gift Certificates are non-refundable and have no cash value.

No reservation will be held without payment in full. If you are unable to attend a class for which you have made a commitment, we suggest that you find someone who can enjoy the class or event and attend in your place.

If you are unable to attend, we require that you inform us of this situation via email sent to Events@SierraChef.com.   No classes may be cancelled via phone, everything must be done in writing.

We have a limited number of spaces in classes, both private and scheduled. When you make the commitment to attend the class Sierra Chef schedules staff, purchases product, reserves that space and time for you and we expect you to respect our policy.

Class attendees will be required to sign a liability release form prior to the start of class.

Please remember that Sierra Chef is not a babysitting service.  Our children's classes are designed to educate, entertain and engage children and we hope that you agree. Should a child consistently disrupt class you will be called to collect your child with no refund.
